On 25th April 1918 the 13th Battalion, Tank Corps was in action between St Jans Cappel and Kemmel either side of the French/Belgium border, heavily
engaged during the Second Battle of Kemmel Hill. This German attack was the opening of Operation Georgette. 13th Battalion, Tank Corps suffered 30 casualties on
this day.
